Antonietta S. DeVito
Antonietta S. DeVito started DeVito law firm in June of 2007. She was previously a staff attorney for other law firms.
In 1989, Antonietta received a Bachelor of Science degree with Dean's List Acknowledgment in Accountancy and Business from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. There she received the Bentley Vanguard best writing award as a staff writer for the School Newspaper and was a member of the commuter society. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Antonietta entered the job market at a large corporation by the name of Bolt, Bernick and Newman. She worked with this Corporation for several years in the Corporate Accounting Group. Her responsibilities included handling large reconciliation accounts, helping the VP of finance make daily investments and drafting policies and procedures for the entire Corporate Group. After working for several years in accounting, Antonietta began working for a family run business in mortgage lending. She has continued that until currently and has established many relationships with lenders and business professionals whom she works with in providing residential and commercial loans.
Upon her work in mortgage lending, she entered Massachusetts School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2002. While in law school, Antonietta was a member of law review and wrote for the School Newspaper. Antonietta is a former member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association. I attended MCLE training in the ones listed and also estate planning.
Antonietta has worked in many areas of litigation including real estate closings, estate planning, contract claims, tort actions, landlord–tenant disputes and tax lien matters, and civil litigation. In addition, Antonietta deals with real estate and probate matters including residential real estate closings, trusts, estate planning and wills. Antonietta is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
